The packing service was well worth including. It allowed me to live in my house with relative normality until the day before the move, when Rob and his team quickly and efficiently boxed up the bulk of my belongings in just a few hours. This allowed them to load the majority of the furniture, boxes etc onto the van that day, leaving just the essentials to sort the following day. Unloading and reassembling furniture in the new property was equally as efficient.
For the two days the team were with me, I felt at ease in their presence and in being able to express my wishes / guide the location of various items as they were unloaded.

Moving day arrived and Rob, Lee and Max arrived promptly and started work immediately. They were incredibly professional and have years of experience. Even those bit we didn’t think would be able to be moved in one piece, they managed! They didn’t stop all day and left only when we were satisfied that everything was in and we were happy.

They packed every item we own (turns out we own a lot of stuff!!) and... safety delivered the lot to our new house!
They were considerate and helpful and patient of our total disorder and our very large and excited dogs who were quite frankly a pain in the backside for them.
Not one glass was damaged, it was seamless and effortless (on our part).

I've recently relocated and was in need of a removals company. I've had a very bad experience with... one of Harrogate's local companies already, so asked for peoples' recommendations.
There was one particular company that kept cropping up so I asked them round and although they were pricey I decided to offer them the job, that was until I eventually received their T & Cs. After reading these I backed away from this Company, which was when I came across Knaresborough Movers. I did a little research into them and was pleased to see that these guys didn't just bomb around in Luton Vans, they had big boys trucks (which is what was needed).
I gave Knaresborough Movers the job and was pleased to see on the morning of the move that they had turned up in a big boys truck not a Tonka toy.
It was Rob (the owner) and his young son Max that carried out the move.
I'd spent the night before worrying about the move as the house had to be completely empty the next day, I shouldn't have as these two guys were fantastic. They were polite, helpful and reassuring, nothing was too much trouble for these guys and Rob's son is a credit to him, Max is a great lad👍.
Everything was moved as agreed and they were £500 cheaper than the company that nearly got the job!

They took an incredibly stressful situation for my parents, who were... moving yesterday (in their 80’s) and showed the utmost care, patience, empathy and professionalism from start to finish.
Nothing was too much trouble.
Even with the 2.5 hour wait in their van while waiting for keys, they were incredibly understanding.
So, so thankful for a great experience with them.
